Strengthening the Village That Builds Leaders
For 30+ years, Blueprint for Womanhood has been a cultural home for Black girls in Phoenix—a place where identity is honored, history is reclaimed, and leadership is nurtured through truth, love, and community. Founded by Executive Director Fatimah Halim, the program grew from a small circle of mothers and mentors into a transformative institution where young women are affirmed, educated, and empowered to stand tall. Hundreds of girls have emerged with confidence, cultural pride, and purpose that continues to ripple through their communities.
Impact That Speaks

Our Focus
We nurture leadership through:
Identity & Self-Knowledge – teaching history with accuracy and pride
Community & Sisterhood – building a circle that protects and uplifts
Purpose & Legacy – passing wisdom from elders to youth
Celebration & Initiation – honoring growth and marking the transition into womanhood
Expanding the Blueprint
As curriculum erasures and cultural disconnects deepen, our work has never been more urgent. We are expanding to reach more girls than ever through:
Scholarships that ensure access for every girl
