BLUEPRINT FOR WOMANHOOD
Our Mission
Blueprint for Womanhood is dedicated to uplifting girls ages 13 to 17 by helping them discover their unique strengths and build lasting self-confidence. Our mission is to encourage each participant to embrace her cultural identity, empowering her to lead a purposeful and rewarding life. We aim to inspire young women to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the world, fostering a strong foundation for future success. Through leadership development programs, we connect girls with peers who share similar ambitions, nurturing a sense of belonging and mutual support.
By offering engaging classes, mentorship opportunities, and community service initiatives, we provide a safe and inclusive space for girls to develop crucial life skills and explore their passions. Our commitment to inclusivity, resilience, and personal growth ensures that every girl feels valued and supported throughout her journey to womanhood.
Blueprint for Womanhood (BFW): A Rites of Passage Program
Blueprint for Womanhood (BFW) is a Rites of Passage program for girls aged 13 to 17, designed to support their cultural, mental, emotional, and spiritual growth. The curriculum is tailored to the needs of girls from the African Diaspora, helping them build confidence and resilience for the challenges of young womanhood.
BFW nurtures girls' natural abilities, promotes critical thinking and emotional intelligence, and offers resources to support their growth into capable global citizens. It helps our daughters envision Womanhood as Sacred.
